He gained his culinary experience over many years, working in restaurants. He is a specialist in many cuisines of the world. He developed his knowledge and competences in the culinary school ``Apron`` run by his brother Roman Shevchenko. He found his true passion and joy in creating artistic, confectionary works.
He's been working as a cook for over 10 years. He developed his confectionery skills while working as a cook on a ship where he worked in an international team. The chefs there became his mentors and teachers. Roman worked in America for some time in his life. Then he helped open many restaurants in Ukraine.
